Outer Banks, the critically acclaimed teen show, was released on Netflix in 2020. The action-adventure show’s popularity stems from its thrilling scenes, romance, friendships, and mystery. After three grand seasons, the main characters, John B, Sarah, Pope, Cleo, JJ, and Kiara, also known as the “Pouges,” return for a highly anticipated fourth season.

Outer Banks writer Josh Pate shared his ideas about the show in Garden&Gun magazine, saying that he [believes] “people love it because it’s just a fun show, and people are drawn to the fantasy of the Pogues.”
The show has completed four seasons, including the new season four. The fans anticipate season five is coming. Netflix officials and the actors have not confirmed season five, but fans can only hope that the teen-centric show will live for one more season.
