After many interviews and going through the selection process, Dr. Wade Rousse is McNeese’s new president. Rousse has been employed by McNeese since 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Dr. Rousse was the Dean and a professor of the College of Business at McNeese.
Rousse became the Vice President of University Advancement in 2020. Rousse is McNeese’s executive vice president and has been in this position for two years.
He earned his doctorate in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Over the years, he has been involved in many publications and research projects.
Rousse’s commitment to his field extends beyond his role at McNeese. He is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the Foundation Staff at McNeese, Lake Charles Charter Academy Board of Directors, American Economic Association, Western Economic Association International, and Financial Management Association International.
