Cowgirls Volleyball dropped to 5-11 on the season after the University of the Incarnate Word swept them in three sets Saturday.

McNeese kept it fairly close in the first set, losing 25-21, but could not keep up with UIW in the second and third sets, losing 25-13 in both sets.

Senior Kayla Wilson led the Cowgirls with 14 kills, marking her third game in a row where she led the team in kills.

The Cowgirls take on Lamar at home Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
