| With finals approaching, several events are scheduled to help end the semester and give students resources to finish strong. Pause for Paws will offer students a pet therapy day where they can interact with certified therapy dogs. Date and Time: Monday from 9 a.m. to noon. Location: The Quad Hosted by the McNeese State University Counseling Center New Ranch Christmas will feature Christmas snacks, holiday backdrops, craft decorating and a hot cocoa bar. Date and Time: Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Location: New Ranch Hosted by the Student Union Team, Student Government Association, Student Engagement and Student Services. Fuel Up for Finals will serve free coffee, tea, refreshments and supplies to students. Date and Time: Monday from 9 a.m. to noon. Hosted by the Student Life Coalition End-of-the-Year Pizza Party to celebrate the close of the term. Pizza will be provided for all students. Date and Time: Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. Location: Kaufman 109. Hosted by The English and foreign languages, history and political science departments Late Night Breakfast to celebrate the end of the semester. The meal is free with a student ID. Date and Time: Monday at 8:15 p.m. Location: Rowdy’s Dining Hall Hosted by McNeese Dining Hall and Office of Student Services McNeese will also host an Ugly Sweater Day, encouraging students to arrive in their ugliest or most festive Christmas sweaters or any holiday-themed outfit. Date and Time: The event will be held Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Location: New Ranch A Gratitude & Good Vibes Day where students can write down what they’re grateful for this season and enjoy treats and affirmations. Date and Time: Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Location: Rowdy’s Dining Hall Holiday Sale: Outfitters Ink is offering a buy-two-get-one-free promotion on items of equal or lesser value through Dec. 19. McNeese students also receive $5 off with a valid student ID. The deal applies in-store only.
